In order to keep a language alive it needs to be practiced in a regular manner and at best with people who know it because it’s their mother tongue.

¡Hay que practicar y hablar una lengua ... Es decir regularmente y con personas que la conocen, porque se criaron con ella!

Ce serait bien de pratiquer une langue étrangère... c’est à dire régulièrement et avec des gens qui la connaissent car c’est leur langue maternelle!

Una lingua deve essere pratticata. E precisamente in modo regolare con persone che la sanno, perché sono cresciute con la quale!

"Mir sann Mir"

Bavarian Dialect: Mir sann mir ! = Wir sind Wir !

Ist ein Ausdruck von Lokalpatriotismus. Die Bayern sind eben wie sie sind.

Literal translation:

English: We are we!

Español: Nosotros somos nosotros!
Français: Nous sommes nous!

Italiano: Noi siamo noi!

" O'zapft is!"

Bavarian Dialect: O'zapft is ! = Es ist angezapft ! (das "Bier"-Fass)

Traditioneller Spruch des Oberbürgermeisters von München, um das jährliche Oktoberfest zu eröffnen, nachdem er das Fass - möglichst mit maximal drei Schlägen - angezapft hat: O'zapft is!

Literal translation: "It's tapped" (the beer barral)

Traditionally the governing mayor of Munich is reopening the "Oktoberfest" with the words "O'zapft is" after having fixed the faucet onto the season's first wooden beer barral. He may not take more than three hits to fix it. Each hit he needed more, would be a hit against his "Bavarian-Munich honour"!!! ;-)
